Our offering of Pile Extractor designs are made to handle all configurations of piles, notably:

  • Round Pile Extraction
  • Larssen Pile Extraction

Altais has developed a scalable and modular design utilising standard industry-rated cylinders to achieve controlled motion control for the extraction of both Round section piles and Larssen piles. The Altais concept is based on safe operation and accurate PLC-based control, coupled with intelligent system integration which makes the design configuration easy to set up and maintain. We also offer supplementary products (e.g. HPUs) to meet the hydraulic supply requirements; and will provide you with the best solution for any bespoke applications at an unbeatable price.

Synchronised Lifting & Weighing…

Altais designs synchronised lifting systems to suit your application. Our system is based on standard cylinders used for jacking and weighing operations for a variety of applications both onshore and offshore.

The Altais design is a unique concept with true synchronised motion by design, achieved via closed-loop control design which includes a PLC controller for accurate cylinder positioning. The hydraulic model is based on an optimised design with a proven and unmatched design approach which has been successfully applied in a variety of heavy applications. Our designs offer seamless integration with the standard Altais Radio Wireless product suite, thereby providing a plug-and-play easy set-up which dispenses with the need to run cables for control system interfacing.

Some highlights of the Altais Lifting design:

~ Load measurement accuracy to 0.5% of the maximum load ~ Data logging facilities included for historical record purposes; including trending via a dedicated HMI interface (*optional) ~ PLC-based control system based on a fail-safe, closed-loop control model ~ Fail-safe cylinder design to ensure load-holding in event of failure ~ Auto calibration sequence and auto self-sense on position (for automatic correction of load in event of unbalance) ~ All systems are tested and certified to meet DNV specifications, and stringent Altais Quality Control Procedures.

Altais offers a comprehensive range (10Te – 1,000Te+) of precision-controlled chain jacks/tensioners, offering the following functions:

  • Manual/Wireless Radio/Acoustic-controlled
  • Precise position control
  • Load monitoring with automatic overload sense and cut-off
  • Link and chain length detection
  • Automated sequences for tensioning/slackening via pay-in/pay-out control of chain
